Born on November 6, 1926, Zig Ziglar was a successful motivational speaker and an American author. He is also a successful salesman and a professional trainer. From as early as 1970, different institutions as well as individuals have benefited from his motivational trainings which have been in in the form of training curriculum, books, videos and audios. He is the author of 32 books of which ten of them have featured in the best seller list in USA.

Ziglar was married to Jean in 1946. The couple had four children. Apart from being a speaker, he was also an active church member who served in different boards.
