There are certainly other forms of delusion but these two are the most common.
A hallucination is when a person starts to hear sounds and sensations that the person thinks is real but only exists in that person’s mind. Hallucinations can occur in all five sense but is most common with hearing sounds and noises. Visual hallucinations can also occur but studies have shown that hearing hallucinations is the most common. These hallucinations al so get worse when the person is alone and can often be voices heard from people they know.

This means that a person with Schizophrenia will have a hard time with sticking to a goal as they tend to forget to take care of themself, forget about work and will stop interacting with other people. There is an overall decline in daily functioning and often can be very moody and unpredictable. A person with schizophrenia will also experience inappropriate emotional responses and can often act impulsively when angry. There are negative symptoms that are not found in healthy individuals like a lack of expression. An inexpressive face and a flat voice can be a symptom of Schizophrenia and a lack of emotional expression as well.

The third step is to stick with the treatment that the patient is given and with the correct treatment and support group like family members, friends, and doctors, a person with schizophrenia can definitely still live a fulfilling life.
